Unsure what type of fundraising event to host? Here are a few suggestions on different ways to fundraise here at CMU.
Why should my on-campus group fundraise?
As a campus club, organization, and/or department there are many ways you can fundraise money for your on-campus group.
Raising money through fundraising is vital for on-campus groups as it provides crucial financial support to sustain and enhance your activities, events, and initiatives. Funding that you raise empowers your group(s) to create a more vibrant and inclusive campus community, fostering a collaborative environment that enriches the overall student experience.
We encourage you to get creative and use us as a resource to ask questions about fundraising!
Why is the CMU Foundation involved?
The foundation serves as the depository for all charitable gifts and acts in a fiduciary capacity as exclusive agent for donor activity for Colorado Mesa University and is a separate 501c3 non-profit branch of the university. Our mission is to strengthen educational opportunities at Colorado Mesa University through the generation and distribution of all gift assets.
